When the handle is pulled down to open the gate, it will also push the gate open as well. This vinyl to vinyl latch comes with 1x14 head washer head and they are self taping self drilling screws. This is also a reversible latch that can be mounted in a variety of ways that help installer get their installation done quickly. The striker rod is made out of ½” round bar welded to a bracket that measures 2.55” X 3.60” X 1.31” and it stick out 2.00”. It is also capable of being used with pad locks to secure the area as needed and can be lock on either side of the gate. It has a polyester powder coat finish that extends the endurance of the latch.
